Quarters Arts is a non-profit society that sees the
Quarters Downtown and Boyle Street as a vibrant neighbourhood for the arts in Edmonton and seeks
to encourage its growth by engaging people with citizen-led projects while honouring the
heritage and exploring the diversity of the community.

We are pleased to announce CO*LAB, Community Arts Laboratory. This facility will provide an
affordable, professional and inclusive space with the mandate of providing resources and
opportunities to grow community through the arts in the Quarters and surrounding neighborhoods.
CO*LAB will include a Workshop, Studio, Performance Hall, New Media Hub, Gallery, Cafe and

GLOW is an illuminated night parade weaving through the Boyle Street neighbourhood,
featuring enormous animated lanterns hand-made by the community. GLOW’S theme for 2019 is
Outer Space, and all the wonders it holds.
Artists and community members will come together to walk through the Boyle Street Community with handmade lantern floats. The lantern parade took place March 23, 2019, 7:30 pm
